RIM Blacberry Could Run Android Apps!

The strangest thing yes. But new VM (virtual machine) software are emerging that enable you to run your favorite android app on a non-android OS!. The latest news, more likely a rumor ... is that the upcoming RIM's new tablet called Blackberry Playbook may run android apps under its current Tablet OS.

Although as said this is still unofficial but we've already seen other software technology companies such as Dalvik has already proved it via their own Dalvik VM. So it is possible and the most amazing thing is that the VM ware technologies are so good nowadays that they can run those apps without any performance loss what so ever (when properly designed).

But it is clear that they won't be using the Dalvik VM according to their official news which stated that the patent technologies are bit complicated and already started some complications between Google and Oracle concerning that subject.

Or RIM can just throw away the Tablet OS and switch to the becoming popular Android upcoming 3.0 which is according to Google is optimized for Tablets. The latter versions were not as optimized as the Honeycomb version which could have been a reason why RIM choose the Tablet OS (or perhaps they didn't want to give credit to Google by picking up the Android ...;-) ).

Anyway if the rumor is true or not within the next few weeks we'll be hearing more about "others" trying to "run" android apps via their "own" OS platforms... thanks to these VM technologies.
