Android Controls 22% of Current Tablet PC Market

Huh it's getting better and better for Android. Google is having some battles with Bing about search engine result copying and people blaming the big G for giving Shitty search engine results but on the other "end" Android is gaining some real momentum.

The latest is that android has gain as much as 22% of the current tablet pc market within the first quarter!. And interestingly Apple's market share which was as high as 95% in the beginning of the quarter is now has dropped 20% within the quarter thanks to the android!.

;-)

I may not be an expert of finance but in a more user point of view this has to be expected. I mean one of the main reasons why people still really love both iPhone or iPad is mainly because of Apple's ability to outperform its competition with its superior good looking designs.

For instance, both iPhone and iPad have horrible multimedia support. They only play the ones Apple want them to play. But Android on the other hand... supports a lot of formats out of the box + thanks to developers all around the world you can find almost any type of apps for android. Heck now thanks to HTC, Motorola, etc we're seeing some gorgeous looking android tablets as well.

So unless Apple put aside their arrogance or whatever that holding them back ... the future may easily drift towards android OS!
