Samsung galaxy is a very popular android smart phone among the enthusiastics no doubt. But it was earlier said that in the upcoming mobile congress they'd reveal the next version of the Galaxy the version 2!. But guess what... some of the specifications have already been leaked ....
Here are the main hardware details of Samsung Galaxy 2...
*. Snapdragon processor with dual-cores (each running at 1Ghz).
*. Adreno 205 GPU.
*. 512 MB RAM + 16GB of internal memory.
*. 800x600 captive (touch) display - 4.27 inch.
*. 2 MP front camera + 8MP back camera with auto focus, LED light, etc, full 1080HD video recording with 30FPS.
*. Wi-Fi, 3G, Quad-band GSM support and bluetooth.
*. GPS, Google maps, Digital compass and a Gyrometer.
*. Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor.
*. Video codec support of MP4, 3GP, DivX, XviD. But since this is Android powered phone you should be able to install another player with better codec support anyway.
*. HDMI and USB port.
Now apart from the dual-core processor (which is not a new thing anymore) the 8MP camera is an impressive move. Unlike in iPhone this will enable of recording 1080P Full HD video recordings as well.
Other details such as battery life, weight, height, etc are unknown. But since the mobile world congress is starting within few days ... better get to that "congress" meeting! ;-). I'll update you once have more news.
