Twitter Released Few Major Updates to its Android App

Twitter for android is not something new but yesterday they announced its updated version with few noticeable changes to both the GUI thus resulting an enhanced (well depends on your needs anyway) user experience.

*. One of the easily noticeable good improvement is the customized home page of the app. Now just like in Twitter you don't have to log in or do anything can just type your "stuff" and search their network within the app main page. They have achieved some speed enhancements as well. So to put it into simple terms - its just got faster!.

*. The default toolbar icons are at the top of the app thus giving more space to the users.

*. A bit annoying thing however is that whether you like it or not the url's are shorted automatically, What! yea you heard me ;-).

It's like Apples's arrogance you know... saying "hey we are the ones who knows best.. not you!... so let us control your functions!" .....

Anyway, if you're still using the old version, it is highly recommended to update to this latest version. It'll be worth it. So go to this official twitter app android market page do download and install it.
