BBC iPlayer App for Android Is Finally Out!

BBC had created its iPlayer for Apple products sometime ago but showing the growing popularity of the Android OS and the market, few days ago they announced their "other" version of the iPlayer app for the Android as well.

Now it has a good looking interface which is apart from the functionality is a major "concern" of the young lads these days ;-) (OK I'm not that old my self either). Anyway as with their "Apple" version this app will also let you...

*. Listen to their radio broadcasts (including 7 days backward).

*. A lot of TV shows can be viewed but according to BBC, some may not be available due to licence agreements.

*. Easily scroll through your favorite shows.

*. Waiting list support (you know so you can make sure there is always "something" to watch ;-) ).

*. Browse or search through their pro-gramme schedules.

But here's the thing. This is still available only to android users within UK. But according to BBC this will change in the future as well as the 3G network support will also grow (hopefully). So if you want to install this free app for your android phone then go to this official bbc iplayer for android page.
