Yep you heard me ;-). Sony Ericsson few hours ago announced that they're going to release the long awaited play-station game running Android OS based smart phone called the XPERIA PLAY February 13 in Barcelona. So if you want to play all your nerdy ;-) play station games on an Android phone then this is the one to go.
It packs with a 4 Inch display screen with a touch sensitive joystick + real game playing buttons as well (see the pic). So does it uses a some kind of a smart phone virtual machine utility? No. With XPERIA Play as the first, it seems that in the future we'll see a lot of "play-station certified" android phones, so with this product, users can download games via an online game market called "play-station suite" ... pretty cool ha!.
So according to the manufacture it comes with a 1GHz processor + 512MB of RAM and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread as the OS. To be honest there are already a lot of android based smart phones can be found with dual-core processors... so let's see if the new XPERIA Play can keep up with the quality standards set by the play-station team ;-).
Have a look at this official video!...
