Cheap Android Phone from Gigabyte, The S Smart!

You can search and find android phones that fits almost all your needs except the low bugdeg (most of the time). But the Symbion OS has a reputation of being on "budget friendly" smart phones for sometime now but the computer peripheral manufacture Gigabyte seems to be interested in introducing a cheap android phone which is named as S Smart.

It is said to be released first in Russia but things like when and where cannot be said at this time (yet). Anyway below are the main hardware details of the Gigabyte S Smart.

The Rumored Gigabyte S Smart...

*. 528MHZ processor.

*. 2.8 inch QVGA touch sensitive screen.

*. 256MB of RAM and 512ROM. Memory can be upgraded via microSD slot.

*. Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth embedded (no 3G it seems).

*. It'll come with the older Android 1.6 Version.

*. 2MP back camera.

*. Battery 1500 mAh.

*. Trace Ball, G-Sensor and 3.5 mm audio jack.

According to sources it should cost around $307. But again this is not a super gaming type mobile phone but more likely a basic one. But to be honest when compared with iPhone for instance ... it still doesn't impress me. What you think??
