Android Based Tablet, Motorola Xoom Is Finally Out

From the day Motorola announced their first android tablet called Xoom it naturally received massive exposure from both experts and users all around the world. The main reason was not so much about the hardware but the rumor (well no more ;-) ) that it will be the world's first tablet to run the upcoming Android version 3 the Honeycomb.



Anyway few hours ago at the mobile world congress Motorola has finally announced its availability and with a "cheaper" separate version for us poor buggers ;-) as well.

*. Dual-core Tegra2 processor (1Ghz each core).

*. 5MP HD back video camera.

*. 10.1 captive touchscreen with 1280x800 HD resolutions.

*. Fully supports the latest adobe flash player the 10.1.

*. 1GB RAM.

*. 32GB of maximum memory supportmicroSD, microSDHC slots (come preloaded 32GB of SSD drive).

*. HDMI and DLNA support.

*. Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth.

*. GPS.

*. 2MP front camera.

It has a price tag of $799.99 and they haven't said anything about the regional release dates either. But according to this thetechherald.com article it should start flooding into the market at the end of February or March.
