Llama, Location Based Automatic Settings Controlling Android App!

Isn't it great to let your phone to automatically turn on or off settings such as audio levels, vibrating, etc according to the places. For instance what the Llama android app does is, let's say when at home you want your phone to be turned off or use minimal audio volume levels or vibrate only, etc and at work you want the maximum volume (suck on that boss! ;-) ), etc.

Pretty cool eh!...
So other than doing it all manually, what if you could find a way to let your phone do it for you?!, is it even possible. Yep... it uses the android phone APN (well all the phones have it) function feature. Then you can use this amazing Llama app to "memorize" your location based phone preference and according to your location it'll apply all those settings all by itself!.

It'll only run (according to the developer) when all the requirement are satisfied. For instance let's say that you set it up to lower the volume down to level "1" at 8PM every night at home (based on the APN), but in this particular night out of boredom you went to a pub and got wasted ;-)...

assuming that the location of the pub and the house has some decent lengths so that the phone can use the APN (Access point name) and made the conclusion that "shit he's not at home even it's already 8PM, so better not lower the volume". Get it. OK cool.

Not just volume up and down it will also...

*. Disable Bluetooth.

*. Kill applications.

*. Turn off your Wife (just kidding - disabling Wi-Fi).

*. Change screen brightness...

These are just a few to name. Now as said it does not use GPS (yet) so if your locations don't have "decent" lengths it might not work properly. So I think the developer currently give it away for free but he'll start charging for it (a little though). Anyway if you want to try it out then get it from this official Llama market page
