Seriously you just can't ignore android powered electronic gadgets anymore. No disrespect to non-android devices but when considering the android phones with dual-core processors (1Ghz each) for instance which were started to emerge like few weeks ago... the latest news is that Nvidia will start to ship their quad-core mobile processors by the end of 2011 August called the Kal-El.
The Kal-El packs such massive powers with them according to some tests they even outperformed the Core2Duo T7200 Intel processor as well. According to Nvidia they'll pack with...
*. The world's first quad-core mobile CPUs.
*. New 12 Core GPU design which will easily support 2560x1600 super HD resolutions.
*. 5 times faster than the Tegra 2 processors.
Have a look at this YouTube video...
The road-map reaches as far as 2013 but as said if things work out according to plan then we should see the first devices within 2011 August. So as an ending note what does this really means.
Well if you want your Android phone to be able to let you view super HD videos (via its screen or LCD through HDMI, etc), play 3D games with superior quality, encode or multi-task, etc or in other words in the near future we'll see a very very fast computer that is both portable and heck should look good as well.
