Meridian, A Free Multimedia Player App for Android

I don't know much about iPhone or the Symbian OS but when it comes to playing different types of multimedia files Android just rocks!. So I previously discussed about the real player beta but if you want to try another very cool (free) multimedia app the the Meridian player is pretty cool.

*. It plays both video and audio files.

*. Playlist, album management, live album-art downloading.

*. MP3 Tag editing.

*. MP3, OGG, MP4, and 3GP are supported but mpeg1 is still having some problems with the android OS (has nothing to do with the app).

*. Play directly from your SD card.

*. Easy to use interface with play, pause, rewind, fast-forward... buttons (tap for activating).

So if you want something that is free and useful that can be used to play decent amount of file types then Meridian media player deserves a try!.
