Kyocera Echo, The Latest Dual Screen (touch) Android Phone!

Hours ago a company many aren't that familiar with called Kyocera (electronic technology developer according to them) reveled a dual touch screen android phone called the Kyocera Echo. Now this is a fold-smart phone with dual screen and once folded you can activate the "virtual" keypad on the other screen to type which gives a plenty of space for your fingers.

The specification...

*. 3.5-inch WVGA screens. The cool thing is that you can convert it into a "tablet" by combining the two screen into a single display screen of 4.7 inches diagonally, 800 x 960.

Combine and you have a little tablet ;-)...
*. Powered by a 1Ghz single core Snapdragon processor.

*. Android 2.2 as the OS (with access to thousands of android applications over the market place).

*. 3G with max downloading speeds of 3.1 Mbps and  1.8 Mbps uploading speeds.

*. Bluetooth 2.1.

*. Wi-Fi connectivity with up to 5 device connections simultaneously.

*. Accelerometer, proximity sensor, GPS and a compass are all there.

*. Flash optimized web browser.

*. 3.5 mm headphone jack.

*. 5 MP camera with 720HD video capturing.

*. 1 GB inbuilt memory can be expanded via microSD slot up to 32GB.

*. It has applications that are optimized for those dual-screens.

*. Another thing is that you can run simultaneous applications via the two screens separately.

*. Comes preloaded with the Sprint "talking plans" ;-).

Now this is not released yet, but it has already created some "waves" across the news channels because of those dual-screens and their combined functions. So if you want to know more about this latest android phone then go to this Kyocera Echo official page.
