In general IT world "Cloud" refers to storing the data on your PC, phone, etc on a hosted service via internet or similar network.
Ok that explanation sucked like big time. But after skipping the technical "nonsense" ;-).. with that service you can Send messages, store your phone's data on a remote computer (HTC servers in this case). So you can even erase your phone's data from a remote location using a PC or another smart phone that supports the service. It's a bit scary ain't it?.. ya I'm one of those idiots who really don't like "cloud" thing... it just "cloud" my freedom ... like big time!.
