How to Fix the 4GB Micro SDHC Error in Xperia X10 Mini Pro Android Phone

Released in 2010 May the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro is a great android based smart phone. But a lot of users who bought it complained about an issues concerning 4GB Micro SDHC cards. The error was that, whenever you insert the 4GB card into the memory slot and restart the phone it won't boot.

Like in windows it would just keep restarting and to make things worse if you had any data in the SDHC, then it'll corrupt them as well (shit :( ). But fear not my friends. Official Sony Ericsson dude or a dude ;-) has given a workaround which should fix it. So first....

If this happens when the Xperia x10 is connected to your computer or let's say now your phone can't read it either then just use their "PC Suite" to format the SD card.

*. Go to Settings-> Sound & Display -> SD card & phone storage > Unmount SD card > Format SD card.

You can do this via the smart phone if id does not keep restarting and just says it cannot read it then format it within the phone using...

*. Settings > SD card & phone storage > Unmount SD card > Format SD card.

So these steps should solve the issue but still if yours isn't working then please contact the Ericsson dealer or e-mail them. Read more from this official Ericsson Facebook Fan page
