Cowon D3, the Latest Android OS Powered Media-player!

I don't think anyone needs an introduction who or what Cowon is all about. For all the newbies... to put it into simple terms Cowon Inc is mainly a company that produces physical multimedia-players like the iPod touch for instance (way better than apple when it comes to playback).

Looks better but still Apple beats it (I guess ;-) )...

Anyway, few hours ago they released the long awaited multimedia player code named the "D3". It comes preloaded with the Android 2.1 version and includes some very impressive abilities (as always) such as ...

*. AMOLE 3.7 Inch screen with 800x480 pixel resolution (16Million colors of course).

*. Full "real" HD video playback at 1920x1080 resolutions!.

*. Weights 120 Grams.

*. Connect to internet and browse the web like in a normal android phone with the built in Wi-F facility.

*. Heavily customized theme from the Cowon themselves.

*. Has the famous JetEffect sound effects preloaded.

*. FM-radio.

*. In this cnet d3 post the big dudes ;-) complained about the location of the playback buttons (to the sides).

*. As always it can play a hell lot of codecs in comparison with all other players! - mp3, mp4, aac, aac+, ogg, mkv, mpeg/124, h263, h264, wmv/7-8-9, flac, divx, xvid, dat, ts, 3gp ... you just name it... and it plays that.

*. HDMI output.

*. Micro USB port.

*. Bluetooth...
