Mobile world congress has started!. Now here is one of the latest updates. Now Dalvik (a mobile application development company) has created a virtual machine software. If you don't know that means, it's a software that let's you run your android apps on non-android phone!.
Now this is a bit rare but not a new thing. The catchy thing is that according to the dudes in the mobile congress (pcmag experts... are they ;-) ) it runs apps three times faster than any VM for android has ever done before!.
The Dalvik VM has two versions. One is the standard VM engine and other is called the Dalvik Turbo engine. Now in the congress they have put a little show which runs a 3D cube on the same HTC phone models and in one it runs the standard VM in the other runs the VM turbo.
They say that the one has the Turbo engine spins the 3D cube 3x times faster than the standard engine. But still it uses the same amount of resources the standard version uses!. Pretty cool stuff ha.
